Financial Intelligence Workshops

Standard Ledger regularly provides the following workshops across Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.

Workshop 1     How to Start your Startup

Covering the essentials of  business structuring, how to set yourself up, compliance issues to be aware of, and using xero to manage your finances.

Workshop 2     Sources of Funding

Bringing together ANZ Bank, PwC, Pozible and Blue Chilli to explore bank funding, the R&D tax incentive, Crowdfunding and venture capital as possible sources of funding for your startup.

Workshop 3     Accounting 101

Like many areas, accounting has it’s own language, words and concepts. These can be confusing to startups new to the business world, or the changing needs of businesses that are growing up. The aim of this workshop is to use plain language to explain core accounting concepts.

Workshop 4     Budgeting & Reporting

We run through some of the things you need to think about when setting a budget, how to implement this in Xero and where some add-on reporting tools can help build “pictures that tell a thousand words” viw of your financial performance.  We also provide a financial model template for all attendees.
